This handy little USB OTG adapter is very useful when adding extra USB storage to your phone or Firestick.  You can also add a mouse or keyboard etc to a variety of devices like a tablet.  It will also add external power to devices like your Amazon Fire TV Stick if your TV does not have sufficient power.

Other choices include transferring photos, videos, documents and other data between device and any external memory.  There is no limit on the size of USB memory stick you can attach so the sky is the limit.

To make things easier still, there are no drivers to install and no complicated setup so just plus and play.

Data Speeds

OTG adapter data transfer speeds can go up to USB 3.0 standard and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0.   Meaning that this cable will work whether the port speed is USB 2.0 or 3.0 so you are covered either way.

Have in mind you may need to download an app for your device so you can access the contents of a USB drive or SD card when using an OTG cable as some older devices may not support OTG data transfer and extension.
